Gustavo Silva Nunez

Ivan Hoo

Ivan Hoo, from Singapore, is an artist who draws the object as it is. He uses pastels and color pencils to draw but he doesn't draw on the white canvas; he only draws on the wooden plates. And also similar to other hyper-realistic artist, his topics are usually broken vases, spilled waters, etc. - which made his work much more realistic. Ready to be surprised with his works? Marcello Barenghi

A bag of M&M's on the table! But this is just a drawing drawn with color pencils. It is made by an Italian artist named Marcello Barenghi; his power of description is very detailed so it really look like a real! Marcello defined this series of works as "Daily Project" because the subject of the work can be anything in the everyday life. See more of realistic items below:

Ron Mueck

A photography of an old man... but no! This is actually sculpture :0 This hyper-realistic sculpture is made by Ron Mueck from England. Not like any other artists, he never had formal art educations, but he was influenced by his father who owned a toy factory (isn't this really amazing?). See more of his realistic sculptures below:

James Mylne

For last few years, vintage style photos became very popular. Probably its color senses that high-resolution digital cannot have, so many people still uses film camera to get these sense in the photo. However, these sense doesn't only comes from the photography. An artist named James Mylne from England creates the works only using the ball point pen (yes! the one we always use everyday!) for last 15 years. 

When drawing with the ball point pen, he cannot modify when there is mistake so it requires much more concentration than any other works. Not only the ball point pen, he uses ink pen, marker, and spray paints but little mistakes can ruin the whole piece of art, so it takes about few weeks to many months to create a single work.
