Food art illustrations




Designers draw illustrations before actually turning their fashion ideas into real clothes. Illustrator Edgar Artis make use of ordinary food like kiwi, strawberry, watermelon, even hamburger to create evening dress illustrations.

Li Ming (Bento Monsters)


Li Ming based in Singapore tries to prepare different types of lunch box for her two children. She started to made cartoon character lunch box because she wanted to correct her first child's habit of eating only what they want. But with her effort, second child also corrected the habit and making lunch box became one of their playtime. Let's check out some of her delicious lunch plates:

Carl Warner


Carl Warner, a photographer based in London, introduced something really interesting. His project is called "Foodscapes" where he combined "food" and "landscapes" - so you can tell it by his project title, he expressed beautiful landscapes only using fresh vegetables, fruits, fishes, etc. But back in late 90s when he first introduced this project, it didn't received any attentions so he agonized about quitting; however, his project got acknowledged in late 2000s :) Let's travel to his wonderful foodscapes below:

Hong Yi (Red)


She's known as Red - the artist named Hong Yi introduced the daily food art in her Instagram account. Dan Cretu


The artist named Dan Cretu presents the food arts showing refreshness of fresh fruits and vegetables. The textures creates the items to stand out more, and I thought his works are very creative that he used gorgeous colors of very fresh fruits and vegetables to create these type of art work!
